In February 2024 I found my first animal that I've worked with, a dead magpie. It was mostly skeletised, most of the skin was a very thin dry layer. The internals had dried and shriveled up into a rasin-like sac that had stuck to the side of the ribcage. I macerated it, then degreased it with Dawn dish soap. I am currently in the process of articulating it.
